1, Drink water.
Drink water when you feel hungry, drink water or
soup before meals, drink water after you eat some snacks. When it comes
to weight loss, drinking water has a long list of benefits. The main one
is preventing one from eating unneeded calories. If one drinks water
before eating meals and snacks, it will make people eat less food. If
one drinks water while eating snacks, this will help he or she stop food
cravings more quickly, thus the person will be able to take in less
calories.
2, Eat and chew food slowly.
Nowadays, more and
more people have a busy schedule. So, people tend to eat meal fast.
However, most people do not know eating fast is one of the reasons that
cause people to gain extra weight. When one eats too fast, he or she
tends to take in more food. If one eats and chews food slower, then he
or she will feel full faster; thus there are no more extra calories, and
people can maintain their healthy weight.
3, Prepare lunch at home.
Many people do not have the time to cook meal when it is lunch time.
They have to eat at fast food restaurants. However, it is harder to
control the calorie intake when eating outside. And most of the time,
the food will be cooked with more fat, oil, and sodium compared to the
food cooked at home. So, if it is possible, prepare the lunch before
going to work in the morning, and also prepare some healthy snacks, such
as fresh fruits.
4, Chew gum when you have cravings for sweets or other food.
This will help you stop the cravings a little bit. Or you can eat a piece of fruit, or some salad with no dressing.
5, Limit sweets and soda intake.
It is hard to stop eating sweets and soda completely, however, everyone
should do the best to limit sweets and soda intake when trying to lose
weight, because it can help reduce unwanted calorie intake greatly.
